Be honest anyway...
“People are often unreasonable and self-centered.
Forgive them anyway.
If you are kind, people may accuse you of ulterior motives.
Be kind anyway.
If you are honest, people may cheat you.Be honest anyway.
If you find happiness, people may be jealous.
Be happy anyway.
The good you do today may be forgotten tomorrow.
Do good anyway.
Give the world the best you have and it may never be enough.
Give your best anyway.”

People should try to be the best they can be.
Does their unreasonableness make life to difficult to live? Their refusal to cut corners may limit their choices.
No action is without ulterior motives. Hey I like killing two birds with one stone. If I can kill three birds with one stone that would be even more efficient and wonderful.
Being honest is easier to remember. Being dishonest will tangle you up to try to keep your story straight. It is better to stay silent and not reveal too much.
Living well is the best revenge, but people will appreciate those who live up to the best standards and the best choices. A great choice will be remembered. Bad choices will be things you want to forget.
A lot of parents seem to think our best is not good enough. It is good they urge us to try to do even better than what we think is best. People who get pushed to do better often get it and achieve even greater goals.
